Guiyang has introduced a new "bus plus long-stay travel" service, linking transport hubs, summer retreat towns, scenic attractions, and homestays through dedicated bus routes, and aiming to make travel and accommodation more convenient while supporting the development of the rural summer tourism economy.

The routes fall into four categories: transport hub connections, inter-town services, direct routes to scenic spots, and chartered buses. They cover major transport hubs such as Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport and Guiyang North Railway Station, as well as popular summer retreat destinations in Wudang and Huaxi districts.
Visitors can book routes, apply for travel cards, reserve homestays and purchase local agricultural products through the Qianshuang Bus WeChat applet. Physical service stations in townships also provide travel information and booking assistance.
All vehicles are licensed for tourist passenger transport, with safety measures covering driver training, vehicle maintenance and journey monitoring.
Guiyang has also brought together homestays, farmers, and local businesses to launch the Guiyang Travel Card, offering discounts on transportation, accommodation, sightseeing and shopping.
As of August 2026, Guiyang had launched 41 routes, with 26 in regular operation. It had partnered with 70 homestays and agricultural product businesses, 15 of which had begun sharing revenue from customer spending. First piloted in Yangchang town, Wudang district, the service is expected to expand to Huaxi and Guanshanhu districts and Qingzhen city.
