State-owned Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group (GAIG) showcased Guizhou province's distinctive mountain agriculture and specialty agricultural products at the trade and business exchange event during the 2026 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, inviting guests from ASEAN countries to explore opportunities for cooperation.

Founded in 2015, GAIG specializes in agriculture, with businesses covering planting, processing, sales, and agricultural services. It has developed industries, including dairy, grain and cooking oil, and tea, with 26 homegrown brands and more than 300 types of agricultural products. Its products are sold across many cities and counties in Guizhou.

Guizhou's specialty agricultural products have increasingly reached overseas markets in recent years. Local dairy products are distributed through an extensive sales network, while two organic dairy products have entered the Hong Kong market. Chili products, mixed-grain and rapeseed oil, fresh meat, and freshwater products have also gained popularity.

Rosa roxburghii products have become a representative of Guizhou products going overseas. Three Rosa roxburghii beverages have been sold in the Vietnamese market, while the company has also developed products, including jelly, preserved fruit, and facial masks. Guizhou's high-mountain tea has also been exported to Morocco.

A company representative said GAIG will further strengthen trade and industrial cooperation with ASEAN countries, helping more high-quality agricultural products from Guizhou enter overseas markets.
