A wellness salon hosted by the Operations Management Center of Guiyang Industrial and Commercial Elderly Care Co, under State-owned Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Group, was held in the activity hall on the first floor of Baoshan Garden on April 22, attracting many middle-aged and elderly residents from Shida and Youyi communities in Yunyan district.

In the health experience zone, a therapist gently provided a shoulder and neck massage for an elderly man, while warm herbal therapy packs released a light aroma of mugwort. Nearby, several participants queued up to try an AI-powered tongue diagnosis device. By simply sticking their tongues out, the system quickly generated health reports and assessed potential risks with precision.
At the health screening area, staff measured people's blood pressure, blood sugar, and blood lipid levels, offering attentive advice on daily healthcare. Traditional Chinese medicine experts were also present to provide consultations and pulse diagnoses, giving personalized wellness recommendations based on individual conditions.
The medicinal food experience zone featured a variety of health products such as lipid-lowering tea, blood circulation herbal drinks, poria pastries, and red yeast rice. "Both delicious and healthy," many participants said as they sampled the offerings.
Staff also guided attendees on a tour of the second phase of Baoshan Garden, answering questions on elderly care services, healthcare support, and living facilities, allowing visitors to experience the high-quality senior care environment up close.
According to a representative from the Operations Management Center, more diverse and demand-oriented elderly care services and health activities will continue to be launched, aiming to enhance the sense of fulfillment and well-being among middle-aged and elderly residents.
