Guiyang Olympic Sports Center's second phase to put into use in May

The main stadium of Guiyang Olympic Sports Center's second phase is expected to be completed and put into use in May, marking another milestone in Guiyang's efforts to enhance public sports and cultural facilities. This key public welfare project will soon provide residents with higher-quality sports and recreational services.

Located in the city's Guanshanhu district, the second phase project has a total construction area of approximately 130,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan ($195.38 million).

The complex includes a main stadium, a training hall, supporting buildings, an underground space, and outdoor landscaping and auxiliary infrastructure.

The new stadium will be capable of hosting national-level sporting events and large-scale performances, further improving the sports center's functional layout.

As the project's construction agent, Guiyang Investment Holding Group under the Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Group has kept a real-time grasp of the project's progress, quality and safety, as well as personnel and equipment allocation.

It has coordinated efforts to resolve difficulties encountered during construction, led all participating construction units to advance the project, and ensured the project is delivered on schedule and with high quality.
