A customized commuter bus line connecting Nanming Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park and Hebin Park began trial operations on March 2, making daily travel more convenient for employees in the industrial park and nearby residents.
He Feng, secretary of the Third Party Branch of the Southern Operations Division of State-owned Guiyang Public Transport Co, explained that 37 companies in the industrial park each have more than 100 employees who need to commute during peak hours. For a long time, due to the industrial park's location and route-planning constraints, regular bus services have struggled to fully cover the area.
After conducting multiple on-site visits to the industrial park and stations along the route and gathering feedback on employees' travel needs, the Nanming District Park Construction Service Center and Guiyang Public Transport Co jointly designed this direct commuter line.
The seats on the customized commuter bus are clean and comfortable, and clear route maps are displayed on the windows. "Now I don't have to rush out early to transfer to the metro anymore. A direct bus to the industrial park is so convenient," one employee said with a smile. After about 40 minutes of smooth travel, the customized commuter bus arrived at the gate of the industrial park's first phase.

During the evening rush hour, employees gradually walked to the customized bus stop and boarded in an orderly line. Liu Qingyun, an employee of Guizhou Zhongyao Biotechnology Co, said, "Previously, I had to take a taxi to Jianlongdong Road Metro Station after work and then transfer. Now I can simply step outside and take a direct bus home – it's much easier and more convenient."
At 5:45 pm, the customized bus departed the industrial park on schedule, heading toward Hebin Park.
