Guiyang SOE awarded provincial honor in tourism sector

The 2026 Guizhou Inbound Tourism Suppliers Conference was held from Jan 6 to 7 at the Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center. During the event, Guiyang China Travel Service Co, a subsidiary of Guiyang Tourism and Culture Development Group under State-owned Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Group, was honored with the title of "Partner in Shared Progress".

The conference – jointly hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Trip.com Group – focused on new opportunities in inbound tourism and the development of a smart tourism ecosystem. It brought together industry representatives, experts, scholars, and leading enterprises from across China and abroad to explore pathways for the high-quality development of the culture and tourism sector.

Guizhou is currently advancing plans to build itself into a world-class mountain tourism destination, while continuing to deepen the integration of culture and tourism and optimize its inbound tourism service system. The conference aimed to integrate industry resources; promote the deep integration of culture, tourism, and technology; and foster an open, collaborative, smart, and efficient tourism ecosystem.

Discussions at the event covered topics including innovative destination marketing, standardization of cross-border services, and digital platform empowerment.
