Guiyang SOE selected as national industrial heritage site

National Industrial Heritage Conference recently announced the seventh batch of national industrial heritage sites, with Guiyang Xintian OETECH Co – a subsidiary of State-owned Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Group – making the list.

Founded in 1966 as Xintian Precision Optical Instrument Co, Xintian Optoelectronics has witnessed Guiyang's industrial transformation and progress over the decades.

Evolving from a precision instrument manufacturer, the company has grown into a high-tech enterprise specializing in comprehensive precision metrology, integrating optics, mechanics, electronics, computing, and software.

With support from national, provincial, and municipal authorities, the company has established a provincial-level technology center, an optical measurement engineering research center, an academician workstation, and a postdoctoral research station. More than 100 scientific achievements and new products have received honors such as the National Science Conference Award and the Major National Science and Technology Achievement Award.

Xintian Optoelectronics has provided testing equipment for many national key engineering projects and holds 58 national patents. It has been recognized as an innovation-driven enterprise in Guizhou province and, in 2021, was named a national specialized "little giant" enterprise for specialization, refinement, distinctiveness, and innovation.

National Industrial Heritage Sites serve as core carriers of China's industrial culture, preserving the nation's industrialization journey, passing on the spirit of industry, and inspiring national confidence.
