Guiyang SOE helps students return to school

Primary and secondary schools and colleges across Guiyang started a new semester, the Central Operation Branch of State-owned Guiyang Public Transport Co launched 46 customized return-to-school bus routes serving 14 schools, with an average of around 3,300 student trips per day.

Before operations commenced, the branch carried out comprehensive maintenance checks on all vehicles to ensure safety and reliability, while drivers received targeted safety training. The branch also worked closely with traffic authorities and schools, conducting on-site inspections of surrounding roads and confirming schedules, stop locations, and passenger capacity.

To meet high demand from university students returning to campus, the branch also introduced three new dedicated routes from Guiyang East Railway Station. These routes cover Huaxi University Town, Qingzhen Vocational Education City, and Gui'an Higher Education Cluster, connecting more than 10 universities, including Guizhou University and the Gui'an campus of Guizhou Medical University.
