Guiyang launches dedicated commuter bus line

Northern Operation Branch of State-owned Guiyang Public Transport Co, Guiyang Qianshuang Urban Public Transport Co, and Guiyang Vegetable Basket Group Co have launched a dedicated commuter bus line to address transportation challenges faced by employees.

Guiyang Vegetable Basket Group, a provincial-level leading agricultural enterprise in Guizhou province, is located in the Zhazuo Agricultural Products Logistics Park in Xiuwen county. Due to its distance from the city center and limited public transit coverage, employees had long-faced difficulties commuting to and from work.

In response, Northern Operation Branch of Guiyang Public Transport Co and Guiyang Qianshuang Urban Public Transport Co studied the transportation needs. Based on employees' residential distribution and commuting hours, the two companies planned a tailored route connecting Beijing Road Metro Station with the Zhazuo Agricultural Products Logistics Park.

Most stops along the commuter bus line are set near metro stations, bus stops, and major residential communities, making it easier for employees to board or transfer. The dedicated service not only improves convenience for workers but also optimizes the overall commuting experience.

Employees welcomed the new line, with one saying, "Previously, commuting to and from work was very inconvenient. Now, with the commuter bus line in place, our travel difficulties have been solved."
