State-owned Guizhou Guilv New Materials Co has announced that three of its subsidiaries passed rigorous audits by the internationally recognized certification body Intertek in late June, earning the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification.
The subsidiaries are Qingzhen Recycled Aluminum Branch, Guizhou High-Precision Plate & Foil Technology Co, and Guizhou Chalco Aluminum Co.
This achievement makes Guizhou Guilv New Materials Co one of the few aluminum enterprises in China to obtain full-chain GRS certification, covering the entire production process from recycled aluminum raw materials to cast-rolled plates, cold-rolled stock, and aluminum foil products. It marks a significant milestone in the company's green manufacturing and circular economy efforts and provides a "green passport" for expanding into international markets.
Guizhou Guilv has followed a green, low-carbon, and sustainable development path since its establishment, focusing on the research and application of aluminum resource recycling. It has upgraded its industrial chain from recycled aluminum to household foil, achieving notable progress in both environmental and economic performance.
The GRS is one of the most authoritative global standards for recycled products, widely adopted by international buyers and brands. It sets strict requirements on recycled content, emissions control, and labor rights. When an enterprise is certified, it means that it has reached an international leading level in the green production and circular economy fields.
