Guiyang SOE launches services for elderly with university

On June 11, a team from the School of Health Management at Guiyang Healthcare Care Vocational University visited the Kuangshanyuan Elderly Care Center, operated by the State-owned Guiyang Industry and Commerce Elderly Care Co, to carry out volunteer services for elderly residents.

During the visit, the director of Kuangshanyuan introduced the institution's overall operations and development, highlighting its application of smart elderly care systems and the upgrading of age-friendly facilities.

The team, accompanied by experts in traditional ethnic medicine, provided services such as hearing health record establishment and physical wellness support. In addition, the team organized cultural performances including poetry recitations and Miao ethnic dances.

A representative from the Guiyang Industry and Commerce Elderly Care Co stated that the center will continue to integrate medical, educational, and cultural resources to further enhance wellness services for its residents.
