The Guizhou Ethnic Unity Grand Parade kicked off on May 18, with a procession of nearly 3,600 participants marching along Zhonghua Road and Zunyi Road. Behind the scenes of this grand celebration, State-owned Guiyang Public Transport Co played a crucial role by providing transportation support, with 2,080 buses transporting a total of 653,500 passengers.

In preparation for the event, the company conducted in-depth research and analysis of the parade route and surrounding traffic conditions. Based on the parade's schedule, location, and projected crowd flow, the company optimized and adjusted 66 bus routes passing through affected areas. Measures included increasing the frequency of specific routes, adjusting departure intervals, and dispatching additional transfer buses to facilitate crowd movement, significantly improving transport efficiency.

On the day of the parade, the company's command center used its real-time dynamic scheduling system to monitor all operating vehicles. The center maintained continuous oversight of bus locations, speeds, and passenger loads, enabling them to promptly adjust routes and stop arrangements in response to changing conditions on the ground.

Staff members were stationed near the event to manage on-site dispatching and maintain communication between drivers and the command center, effectively preventing traffic congestion and service disruptions.

The company also worked closely with the traffic police, sharing real-time updates on road conditions. This enabled rapid route adjustments in the event of traffic control measures or temporary road closures, ensuring passengers could reach their destinations safely and on time.
