To meet the surge in travel demand during the 2025 Gui'an Cherry Blossom Season, State-owned Guiyang Public Transport Co established a comprehensive transportation network tailored for cherry blossom tourism.
The company deployed 74 buses and operated over 3,600 trips that served 301,000 visitors. One dedicated metro transfer line connected Gui’an Station and Dakecheng Metro Station to the cherry blossom park, with high-frequency services every 15 minutes.
Three shuttles linked major parking areas along Gaofeng Avenue, Huangmao village, and Gui'an Avenue Auxiliary Road to the park, enabling fast and convenient transfers.
Eleven mini-group tour routes offered direct round-trip bus services from key locations such as the train station, Guiyang North Station, the Huaxi University Town, and the Financial City, ensuring hassle-free tourist experiences.
Four flower viewing lines covered Longdongbao Airport and the Guiyang, Guiyang North, and Guiyang East railway stations, providing easy access for over 4,200 out-of-town visitors.
All operational vehicles were equipped with accessibility features, and drivers received specialized training. Amenities such as motion sickness medication and candies were available onboard to accommodate passengers with special needs.
Volunteer service stations at Gui'an and Dakecheng railway stations were set up to offer route advice, transfer guidance, and tips on nearby attractions and local cuisine. Ten standby buses were also stationed near the cherry blossom park to respond to peak-time crowd flexibly.
