The distributed photovoltaic project at the Bokai Pharmaceutical Logistics Park in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, funded and built by the State-owned Guiyang Mineral Energy Investment Group Co, has achieved a full-capacity grid connection.

The project, which spans a rooftop area of 38,000 square meters, boasts an installed capacity of 4.43 MWp and a total investment of 16.02 million yuan ($2.21 million).

Since construction began on May 21, Guiyang Mineral Energy Investment Group Co has optimized component and inverter configurations to shorten DC cable paths, ensure quality, and reduce costs. It has also strategically set module spacing based on rooftop conditions and software modeling, minimizing shading and maximizing power generation. Comprehensive inspections have stabilized the project's voltage levels to ensure efficient power consumption.

Harnessing the region's abundant solar resources, the project converts sunlight into safe, green, and efficient energy. It prioritizes meeting the pharmaceutical logistics park's power needs while feeding surplus energy into the economic zone's power grid.

The project generates approximately 3.7 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, saving about 1,122 metric tons of standard coal. It also reduces annual carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 3,075 tons, sulfur dioxide by 309 kilograms, and nitrogen oxides by 496 kg. It significantly reduces ash, smoke, and water consumption, contributing to remarkable energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits.

The group will rely on the existing completed photovoltaic project sites to expand the number of projects, refine the quality of the power grid, and promote the completion of the photovoltaic regional network in Guiyang city.
