To enhance the passenger experience, Guiyang Metro has introduced service desks, storage lockers, mini-libraries, and shared chargers at stations. Special care has been given to accessibility, with features like Braille signs, assistive devices, and wheelchair-friendly facilities.
Operational adjustments have also improved efficiency. During holidays and events, metro hours are extended, while large stations allow longer boarding times. Amenities like free rides for marathon participants and added ticket machines at key stations further enhance usability. Advanced air-conditioning systems and optimized schedules ensure comfort and efficiency.

After 2,486 days of safe operation, Guiyang Metro has run over 1.15 million trains and reduced peak-hour intervals from 7 minutes to 5.5 minutes, serving an average of 700,600 passengers daily.
