On Oct 1, Guiyang Healthcare Investment Co, a subsidiary of State-owned Guiyang Infrastructure Construction & Investment Group Co, officially opened the Guikangyang Healthcare Smart Elderly Care Experience Center in collaboration with Friend Group Times Square.
The center is specifically designed to meet the needs of the elderly, providing them with access to a range of intelligent health monitoring devices, smart home products, and wearable technologies.
For example, the smart bed is equipped with AI-powered voice alarm systems, heart rate and breathing monitoring mats, and fall alert badges, allowing continuous monitoring during sleep.
These features provide real-time feedback to family members or caregivers. The center also offers consultation services for smart elderly care solutions to assist seniors and their families.
The experience center includes an aging-friendly product display area, a senior service experience area, and a relaxation zone.
Over 500 smart products are showcased, with over 100 devices available for hands-on experience. These include monitoring watches, cognitive function screening machines, and transfer devices.
Some products, such as the lower limb rehabilitation exoskeleton, are being exhibited in Guiyang for the first time. These devices address various self-care, assisted care, and caregiving needs that seniors may encounter in home-based settings.
"Smart elderly care improves the quality of senior services, enhances safety for the elderly, reduces the burden on caregivers, and promotes the development of the elderly care industry in Guiyang city and Gui'an New Area," said Tong Chuan, deputy general manager of Guiyang Infrastructure Construction & Investment Group Co.
He added that Guiyang Healthcare Investment Company will continue focusing on smart healthcare and integrating medical and elderly care services. The company aims to strengthen its Guikangyang and Qiankanghui healthcare brands while supporting the high-quality development of the elderly care sector in Guiyang and Gui'an through integrated medical rehabilitation projects.
