Guiyang's first physical mall, the "Qianshuang Yigou" Bus Mall, was launched by State-owned Guiyang Public Transport Investment and Operation Group Co on July 26. The bus mall aims to convert public transport users into consumers.
Residents can earn green transport points by taking buses and subways, which can then be redeemed for products at the bus mall by running up to a certain amount. Each time a citizen purchases a bus or subway ticket through the "Qianshuang Bus" WeChat applet, they earn 50 points, worth approximately 0.5 yuan ($0.07).
Once points are earned, users can search for the “Qianshuang Yigou Bus Mall” WeChat applet to redeem them for products. Points can be used to offset cash or exchanged for goods.

At a "Qianshuang Yigou" Bus Mall located on the northern section of Huaxi Avenue, the reporter saw that the store offers a variety of products, including local agricultural products, snacks, and alcoholic beverages, all at affordable prices. The store also features a "live streaming" area to provide online product consultation services to residents.
Moving forwards, Guiyang Public Transport Investment and Operation Group Co plans to set up more mall pick-up points and physical stores at bus stations throughout Guiyang, allowing residents to experience the diverse services of Guiyang's "open public transport" initiative.
