Guiyang SOE achieves product upgrading

A reporter learned from State-owned Guiyang Industrial Investment Co that recently, its subsidiary, Guizhou Guilyu New Materials Co, completed the rolling of its first batch of ultra-large roll diameter (6.3-micron, over 2250-mm) light gauge foil aluminum foil products, reaching an advanced level in the industry.

"Light gauge foil" is a foil with two zeros after the decimal point when its thickness is measured in millimeters, usually an aluminum foil with a thickness of less than 0.0075 mm.

Light gauge foil is widely used in food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, and electronic devices. This achievement fully demonstrates Guizhou Guilyu New Materials Co's exquisite craftsmanship and excellent quality control capabilities in the deep processing of aluminum sheet, strip, and foil products, from casting to cold rolling and foil rolling.

The production of ultra-large aluminum foil products not only reduces material waste and promotes higher yield rates but also greatly improves production efficiency and lowers production costs.

Guizhou Guilyu New Materials Co is primarily involved in the production and sale of aluminum and aluminum alloy sheets, strips, and foils, as well as the development of relevant new product technology.
