Hu Zhongxiong, secretary of the CPC Guiyang Municipal Committee, presided over a special meeting on attracting investment from central enterprises and deepening cooperation with provincial State-owned enterprises in Guiyang City and Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province on Nov 11.
After carefully listening to reports on attracting investment from central enterprises and cooperation with provincial State-owned enterprises, Hu pointed out that strengthening cooperation with central and provincial State-owned enterprises is a key method to promote high-quality development in Guiyang and Guian.
This requires Guiyang and Guian to focus on key areas such as agriculture, energy, ecology, manufacturing, construction, culture and tourism, finance, commerce, and transportation to explore projects supporting high-quality development.
Hu also emphasized the utilization of external exchange platforms such as the Big Data Expo, Eco Forum Global Guiyang, China (Guizhou) Intl Alcoholic Beverages Expo, and the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week to implement investment attractions.
At the same time, Guiyang and Guian were urged to create a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, governed by the rule of law, and internationalized to facilitate the development of enterprises, focusing on building a trustworthy government.
