Guiyang SOE joins provincial list of innovative enterprises

Guizhou JiHai Fruit and Vegetable Beverage Engineering Technology Co, a subsidiary of State-owned Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group, joined a provincial list celebrating innovation-driven firms on Nov 2.

The list marking the second batch of newly identified specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in Guizhou for 2023 was announced by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

Located in Baiyun district of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Guizhou JiHai Fruit and Vegetable Beverage Engineering Technology Co specializes in purchasing fresh prickly pear fruit from the Yanglongsi town in the city throughout the year.

Once the fruit has been procured, the company processes the prickly pears into products such as prickly pear juice through an automated production line and distributes them nationwide.

The company currently operates four production lines for solid beverages, pressed candies, tea substitutes, and fruit and vegetable juice beverages.

Its product range includes prickly pear juice, fructose-rich fruit juice, prickly pear sugar cubes, effervescent tablets, and refreshing prickly pear drinks.
