Xiao Jianbo, director of the Guiyang State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, conducted a research visit to villages in Xiuwen county as part of efforts to assist with rural vitalization on Oct 12.
Xiao visited a formerly impoverished household in Shapo village, where he gathered detailed information about the family's pig sales, sources of income, children's education, and any difficulties they were facing.
He also provided financial assistance. Xiao encouraged the family to increase the size of their corn cultivation, reduce the cost of pig farming, and implement well-planned breeding measures to boost their income.
At the on-site inspection of a machine-cultivated road in Yangjiazhai village, Xiao inquired about the surrounding crop cultivation situation and the benefiting households. He urged the village work team and village committee to carefully calculate the length of the machine-cultivated road and estimate the associated costs, ensuring the successful application of the road-hardening project to address the urgent agricultural production issues villagers are facing.
