State officials affirm work of Guiyang SASAC

Wang Xinwei, deputy director of the Professional Manager Research Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, led a team to inspect the work of Guiyang SASAC from Sept 11 to 13.

On Sept 12, Guiyang SASAC gave a briefing on its achievements and experiences in implementing the term system and contractual management for executive members, the professional manager system, and compensation management and performance evaluation.

During a symposium, officials from the Guiyang SASAC and cadres of State-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Guiyang exchanged views with the team regarding the current status of SOE reform, the training of professional managers, and future development trends.

Subsequently, the inspection team affirmed the progress made in Guiyang in terms of institutional development and talent cultivation for SOEs. The team also shared their experiences on how to establish and improve the professional manager system.

From Sept 12 to 13, the inspection team also visited the Huimin Fresh Supermarket of Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group, Guiyang Infrastructure Construction & Investment Group Education Investment Co, and the affordable rental housing project implemented by Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Group.
