Guiyang SOE cooperates with Guian zone

The Guian New Area Free Trade Zone held a symposium with State-owned Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group in Guiyang city on Sept 11, and the two sides discussed the import and export of agricultural products, bulk raw material processing, investment cooperation, complementary advantages and more.

At the meeting, the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement to carry out cooperation in the trade of agricultural special products, tea and chili.

The Guian New Area Free Trade Zone has certain advantages in import and export trade and boasts a cross-border e-commerce platform and overseas warehousing channels. The development of characteristic agriculture, an industrial platform, agricultural equipment, and technological research by Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group are in full swing.

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate to build the Guizhou Import and Export Industrial Cluster of Local Agricultural Products, the Guizhou Processing and Export Base of Refined Tea, and the Processing and Export Base of Guizhou Pepper.

Meanwhile, relying on the group's Southwest Grain City Project and the advantages of importing bulk raw grains in the zone, the two sides will jointly build a trade platform for wine and grain and a technology platform for digital-agricultural cooperation in Guizhou. They plan to actively promote the import of local agricultural products and explore cooperation in multiple fields.

After the signing of the cooperation agreement, the two sides will promote a series of high-quality projects as soon as possible.
