Guiyang and Guian plan to develop SOEs, State-owned assets

The Guiyang municipal government recently held a special meeting on the high-quality development of Guiyang City and Guian New Area's State-owned enterprises.

Officials carefully listened to the Guiyang municipal SASAC, municipal State-owned enterprises and State-owned enterprises in Guian New Area as they talked about production, operation and their work plan.

In the first half of this year, the business operations of the Guiyang and Guian State-owned enterprise system have expanded, enterprises have been reformed, and many achievements were made. The city plans to implement a new round of three-year SOE reforms to improve the core competitiveness of State-owned enterprises and economic and social benefits.

Officials proposed that the State-owned enterprises and State-owned assets system should strengthen cooperation with the government, enterprises, research institutes, and financing institutions in various fields, focusing on indicators such as labor productivity, return on net assets, and economic added value, and enhancing the advantages and competitiveness of the main business.

Management and technological innovation must be strengthened, top-level design and enterprise architecture must be optimized, and the digital transformation of State-owned enterprises must be accelerated.

SOEs and State-owned assets were also urged to place importance on reserve planning, financing, investment operation and other work related to governed and constructed projects, and support the high-quality development of State-owned enterprises with high-quality projects.
