Guiyang SASAC promotes affordable housing

In order to better understand the operation of the affordable housing program for talents operated by State-owned enterprises in Guiyang, Xiao Jianbo, secretary of the Party committee of Guiyang SASAC, recently held a symposium with Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Co and Guiyang Infrastructure Construction & Investment Group.

Xiao also visited the apartments for talents operated by the two enterprises, in the interest of conducting field research.

On June 20, in order to strengthen the operation and management of the affordable housing program and promote the construction of a rental system for talents, the Guiyang SASAC convened the Guiyang bureau of housing and urban rural development and the above two enterprises to hold a special meeting on this subject.

At the meeting, Lai Zhenglin, deputy director of the Guiyang bureau of housing and urban rural development, gave a briefing on the construction and operation of the affordable housing program, while the two enterprises reported on the operation and existing problems of the project. The participants also conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions about the work.

Xiao said the affordable housing project should be operated in a way that focuses on providing convenient services for talents. He furthermore said it should strive to innovate in terms of the support, management and operation offered; and constantly raise its market profile and influence.
