Guiyang SOE supports construction of industrial park

Construction is proceeding in a timely and orderly manner in Zone A of the Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Park inside the Guiyang Free Trade Zone.

Ground was broken on zones A and D in 2022 and they are now both 90 percent complete, while construction work on zones B and C is expected to start later this year.

The industrial park connects to two highway entrances and exits as well as Guiyangdong Railway Station, offering a range of transportation and logistics advantages.

The park is one of the key free trade industrial parks built by Guiyang and Guian New Area, boasting the characteristics of large volume, industrial agglomeration, convenient transportation, tariff concessions, and more.

To attract more enterprises to settle there and serve their development, a workshop inside the industrial park can be customized according to the production and operational needs of enterprises.

At the same time, a project to build affordable housing by State-owned Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Co is also being promoted, which will serve the accommodation needs of employees who have settled in the park when it is up and running.

As of late May, the industrial park has screened more than 200 investment enterprises. Among them, a project with Shenzhen Hangrui technology Co based on an investment of 300 million yuan ($41.71 million) has been signed. That is expected to achieve an annual output value of 300 million yuan after completion.

There are currently two projects waiting to be signed and three more to be discussed. Over 300,000 square meters of plant investment are expected by the end of this month.
