Guiyang Vegetable Basket Co, a subsidiary of State-owned Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has recently launched its "Shandi Guishuang" brand's seasoning series products both online and offline. Since its release in early April on e-commerce platforms, sales have already exceeded 350,000 yuan ($50,650).
"Shandi Guishuang" is a green and ecological agricultural product brand that leverages the advantages of the entire vegetable industrial chain. Its product lines include fruit and vegetable series, edible fungi series, and flavoring series.
The seasoning series currently has 25 types of products, such as Guizhou-style chili products and sour soup products made using an intangible cultural heritage technique. These products are now available online on major e-commerce platforms such as JD, Douyin, and Taobao. They are also sold offline in well-known supermarkets in South and North China and exported to Australia.
According to the deputy general manager of Guiyang Vegetable Basket Co, the company is preparing to build processing plants that are expected to be completed in the second half of the year. Once completed, the company is expected to achieve a whole-chain development of a series of products from raw materials to processing and sales, further boosting rural vitalization.
The successful launch of the "Shandi Guishuang" brand's seasoning series products is an excellent example of local agricultural products' power in contributing to a region's economic development. By leveraging the entire industrial chain of vegetables, Guiyang Vegetable Basket Co has been able to offer high-quality seasoning products that are now widely available across the country.
