To solve the housing shortage for talent who work or start businesses in Guiyang, State-owned Guiyang Urban Construction and Investment Group Co has put into use 1,463 apartments with cheaper rent for talent in the city since 2022.
The talent apartments in Guanshanhu district built by Guiyang Public Housing Investment and Construction Co, a subsidiary of Guiyang Urban Construction and Investment Group Co, have entered the trial operation stage, and more than 10 young people have applied and moved in.
In the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, such apartments are also in the process of having home appliances installed, such as refrigerators, washing machines and televisions.
The apartments will also be equipped with shared smart kitchens, reading rooms and gyms in the common area.
"It's only a 10-minute drive from these apartments to both Guiyang's urban area and Longdongbao International Airport," the person in charge of the construction project said.
"Moving forward, we will continue to optimize management and services for households," said Yuan Weihua, deputy general manager of Guiyang Public Housing Investment and Construction Co.
