Guiyang, Guian boost dealings with central, SOEs

The city of Guiyang and the nearby Guian New Area held a scheduling meeting on deepening their cooperation with central government enterprises and provincial State-owned enterprises.

The event took place in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 11.

Strengthening cooperation with central enterprises and provincial State-owned enterprises is widely seen as being conducive to economic development, scientific and technological innovation and the construction of a modern industrial system.

Over the past year, the cooperation between Guiyang and Guian and central enterprises and provincial SOEs is widely said to have achieved some great results.

The meeting requested that the future focus of economic development in Guiyang and Guian should be on the real economy.

To this end, the two are being urged to do a strong and capable job in all aspects of project planning, investment promotions, commencements, construction and operations – to realize high-quality projects that support high-quality development.

Additionally, relevant municipal government departments are being urged to listen to the demands of enterprises in a timely manner and to strictly implement various support policies.
