Guiyang, Guian advance green low-carbon development

A low-carbon themed event was held on March 12 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, aimed at promoting green and low-carbon practices in State-owned enterprises, according to Guiyang Daily.

At the event, representatives of SOEs signed a Green Development Initiative.

Running through to June, all State-owned enterprises in Guiyang will organize a series of events, including six activities specifically related to the green and low-carbon theme.

The events are expected to provide know-how and skills training for employees in the SOEs, raise their awareness of green development approaches, as well as establish and extend their low-carbon lifestyles.
