Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group, a State-owned company in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held the annual meeting for the promotion of order placements for vegetables and condiments on Jan 9.
More than 80 vegetable businesses and processing enterprises from around the country participated in the meeting, and more than 50 cooperation agreements with a total value of 446 million yuan ($66.5 million) were signed, local media reported.
At the meeting, Guiyang Vegetable Company Co, a subsidiary of Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group, introduced its condiment products, as well as released its new production and planting plan along with its new policy for order placements in 2023.
In 2023, the company's total production target will be 43,347 metric tons, including 558 tons of Morchella and 42,789 tons of vegetables. It is expected to sell 143,500 tons of vegetables and 1,100 tons of condiments, with a targeted operating income of 1.09 billion yuan.
