State-owned GAID listed among top 500 national agricultural enterprises

Farmer's Daily recently announced the evaluation results of China's Top 500 Agricultural Enterprises in 2022, and State-owned Guiyang Agricultural Investment and Development Group (GAID) was on the list.

In order to comprehensively, objectively and systematically display the development of China's agricultural enterprises, Farmer's Daily launched this evaluation system.

The list is based on internationally accepted evaluation methods. Enterprises report or use public data in accordance with the requirements, while also referring to their profit and reputations. Finally, agricultural enterprises are ranked according to their 2021 operating income.

GAID's industries cover 35 districts and counties in nine cities within the province, and is a good demonstration model for the development of agricultural industry in the province.

Since the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), the group has vigorously researched innovations in the modern seed industry, expanded the agricultural product processing industry, invigorated the market circulation industry, as well as established a system of industrial chain, innovation chain and supply chain integration.
