Guizhou Gas Group ensures natural gas supply

In response to the recent cold front, State-owned Guizhou Gas Group in Guiyang city made efforts to ensure the stability of its natural gas supply.

The group focused on the monitoring and analysis of the supply and demand for natural gas, monitored the operation of the provincial gas pipeline network, and carried out grid checks on the gas supply system.

The group carefully maintained key equipment in natural gas stations and gas pipeline networks. Emergency repair materials and spare parts were stocked in case they were needed.

Additionally, the group's emergency dispatching command center and the natural gas station are manned 24 hours a day, and the 96977 customer service hotline responds to user needs 24 hours a day.

Guizhou Gas Group has issued two warnings for gas use in the cold winter.

If the gas is used for a long time, the indoor oxygen may be insufficient. Residents should open the doors and windows for ventilation.

In case of gas leakage at home, residents are urged not to turn on the electrical appliances or use mobile phones indoors. Instead, people need to immediately leave their homes and go to an outside area to call the service hotline.
