Cooperation of State-owned, private enterprises grows

According to a news conference held by the Guiyang municipal government on Oct 24, to date 57 State-owned enterprises have been formed under mixed ownership in the city – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – and cooperation between State-owned enterprises and the private sector is growing.

In recent years, Guiyang has comprehensively deepened reforms of State-owned assets and enterprises, implementing a three-year program of State-owned enterprise reforms and has promoted the strategic restructuring of State-owned enterprises.

In terms of its industrial layout, Guiyang has made every effort to promote the concentration of the State-owned economy in key industries such as infrastructure, manufacturing, tourism, agriculture and medical care.

Moreover, the city has optimized and reorganized Guiyang Industrial Investment Co, and promoted the development of industrial brands such as Guizhou Tyre Co, Guizhou Mechanical and Electrical Group Co, Guiyang Yongqing Instruments and Electronics Science and Technology Co. What's more, it has promoted the development of municipal State-owned enterprises.

Guiyang Water Group Co, Guizhou Nanfang Dairy Co, Guiyang Xintian Photoelectric Technology Co and others have jointly developed four national, nine provincial and municipal enterprise technology centers with national and provincial key laboratories and university research institutions.
