State-owned enterprises continue to sail

Secretary Hu Zhongxiong of the Guiyang municipal Party committee on May 12 visited Guiyang Industrial Control Group to investigate and propaganda the reform and development of State-owned enterprises.

Before his speech, Hu conducted field research on a number of State-owned enterprises – Guiyang Industrial Control Guarantee Co, Guiyang Venture Capital Co, Guiyang Industrial Control Capital Co, and Guiyang Industrial Control Park Co – and visited a smart home model room.

In his speech, Hu emphasized the need to focus on industrial development and for strong State-owned enterprises to contribute to Guiyang's "strong provincial capital" strategy.

State-owned enterprises in Guiyang should aim to establish professional, intelligent and efficient industrial parks, focus on the vitalization of the industrial, digital, and modern service industries, and perform well in industrial operation.

Due focus must also be given to project construction and investment promotion, and the speed, quality and efficiency of project construction must be improved.

In addition, enterprises should strengthen the dynamic supervision of assets, debts, investment, financing and guarantees, improve their ability to respond to various emergencies, strengthen production safety management, and reform discipline inspection and supervision systems at State-owned enterprises.
