Guiyang Industry Control Bangfu Trading Co, a unit of the Guiyang Industry Control Group – a State-owned enterprise in Guiyang city – is promoting the export of goods from Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The company is involved in the vitalization of Maodong village, administered by Xifeng county in Guiyang.

In order to support its development as a beautiful village pilot, the group and the Maodong Village Collective Share Economic Cooperative jointly invested in and registered a trading company in Xifeng county on March 4.

Based on the proposed vitalization of Maodong village, the company is said to be committed to creating a rural industry development platform for the trade, industrial supply chains and branding of special agricultural products in Guizhou province.

Since the Xifeng trading company started up its business in early April, it has expanded its vegetable export business.

This has helped farmers sell 155 metric tons of fresh vegetables to customers outside the province, generating sales of 960,000 yuan ($144,004), boosting the exports of goods from Guizhou.
