Guiyang focuses on enterprise safety

The Guiyang State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission held a work meeting on safe production and epidemic prevention and control. Huang Yonghui, director of the commission, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Huang pointed out that there have been frequent COVID-19 outbreaks across China, and many confirmed cases have appeared in Wuchuan county, Guizhou province. All enterprises should carry out investigations on the self-protection of staff members in densely populated places, the movements of new workers entering the construction site, and the temporary suspension of train and bus services.

Different companies have different priorities. Most enterprises should focus on safe production, transportation enterprises should focus on routine inspections in the first shift, construction enterprises should implement construction procedures and personal protection measures, and tourism enterprises should strengthen water operation safety management at scenic spots.

In addition, enterprises should carry out safety education and training for new recruits to improve their safety awareness and prevent production accidents.
