State-owned enterprises located in Southwest China's Guizhou province have resolutely moved to tackle a range of problems troubling locals in their daily lives – with their Party organizations last year surveying 4,937 people through questionnaires and collecting 3,576 suggestions.

To date, the SOE Party organizations have reportedly solved 1,085 issues, organized 1,194 volunteer teams of Party members and dispatched members to serve 49,900 people in residential communities.

One of the SOEs whose Party organization helped out was Guizhou Panjiang Coal and Electricity Refco Group, which last year produced 1.7 million metric tons of thermal coal, an increase of 27 percent year-on-year. The group also produced 120 million cubic meters of natural gas, which accounted for 63 percent of the province's total.

Elsewhere, Guizhou Rural Credit Union launched a door-to-door social security card application service last year and it has helped 13.13 million citizens so far apply for social security cards, accounting for 34.7 percent of the total in Guizhou.

Guizhou Cloud Big Data Co updated Guizhou's health code system – allowing users to see information on their health code, travel card, vaccination and nucleic acid test results on the same page on their smart phones.

Meanwhile, Guizhou Expressway Group Co installed 47 pairs of charging piles in service areas. The new charging piles are reportedly safer and more efficient, saving 40 percent of the previous charging time.

Some service areas have also provided more convenient services for drivers – providing such facilities as dining areas, shower areas, laundry rooms, rest areas and car maintenance areas.
