Guiyang city – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – on Dec 31 started operation of an online supervision system for State-owned assets and State-owned enterprises, also known as SOEs.
The system will work with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guizhou Province.
With real-time supervision, it can reportedly integrate, clean, share and utilize the data resources of SOEs, as well as analyze and forecast risks to help with decision making.
Currently in operation are sub-systems for organization frameworks, appointing and dismissing officials and decision making for major issues and projects. Also online is monitoring of the deployment of large amounts of funds, property rights management, finance supervision, reforms supervision and government affairs services.
Other sub-systems for performance assessments, accountability supervision, investment planning and the tracing of funding will be launched soon.
The system has collected basic information on 442 SOE subsidiaries, created accounts for 9,730 users and trained 842 users.
