Guiyang SOE builds intelligent parking lot

An intelligent parking lot located at Yan'an West Road – in Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – will reportedly soon be completed.

The parking lot is being built by a unit of Guiyang Communications Investment Development Group Co, a State-owned enterprise based in Guiyang.

The parking lot covers a building area of 20,000 square meters, with three stories underground and six stories above ground. It has 653 parking spots, including 58 with charging piles, 485 indoor parking spots, 159 outdoor parking spots and four parking spots for people with disabilities.

So far, the civil engineering and indoor installations have been completed, while the installation of outdoor parking equipment and glass curtain walls is underway. It is understood that the parking lot will start operating as soon as it passes its official acceptance.

Plans are for Guiyang Communications Investment Development Group Co to build more parking lots in the area to meet increasing demand.
