Guiyang will serve as a guest city of honor at the 18th China-ASEAN Expo, which will be held in the city of Nanning, capital of South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Sept 10-13, according to news from the Guiyang bureau of commerce on Sept 5.
The expo's Guiyang exhibition area will adopt an international perspective and use simple elements to showcase the depth of Guiyang's local culture and city. Guiyang will be presented as a young, ecological city with rapid growth. Modern technologies will be used to illustrate Guiyang's charm from multiple dimensions – trade, culture, travel, ecology, transportation, innovation, and opening-up.
The exhibition area will be divided into four core sub-areas and city image sub-areas and two special display sub-areas.
Enterprises based in Guiyang and Guian New Area will bring high-end equipment, food, and cultural and innovative devices to the expo, which will be on show at the Charming Guiyang sub-area in an effort to consolidate Guiyang's status as a consumption paradise.
Dynamic scenes and immersive experience in the Ecological Guiyang sub-area will highlight the city's reputation as a place to escape the scorching heat in summer.
