Guiyang SASAC leader conducts company visits, reviews

Huang Yonghui, the director of the Guiyang SASAC, led a survey team that examined the Guiyang Tourism and Cultural Industry Investment Group in Southwest China's Guizhou province on Aug 5, accompanied by other senior officials.

The investigation mainly focused on the group's two subsidiary companies: the Guizhou Peking Opera Company and Guiyang China Travel Service Company.

It examined details about their activities, the layout of their development strategy, staff member training, Party building, novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control measures, as well as their overall safe operations.

During the visit to the Guizhou Peking Opera Company, Huang expressed his approval of its financial performance in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and urged more varied and stimulating performances to be staged to meet the cultural needs of the people.

In addition, the growing feeling is that the company needs to seek further cooperation with some well-known Guizhou scenic spots, such as Qingyan Ancient Town and the Tianhe Lake Scenic Spot.

It is felt that the integration of culture and tourism will usher in new, high-quality endeavors that will enhance the lives of Guiyang's residents and prove to be commercially successful.

The Guiyang China Travel Service Company also received high praise for its dedication to self-improvement.

Huang expressed his hope that deepening cooperation with other partners and innovation would bring new breakthroughs in development and cut any losses caused by the pandemic as much as possible.
