Huang Yonghui, director of the Guiyang State-owned asset supervision and administration commission, launched a research tour of Baimayu hot springs construction site and Taoyuan River scenic spot on July 19, accompanied by officials from Guiyang Tourism and Culture Investment Group Co.

At the construction site of the Baimayu hot springs program, Huang was briefed on the construction progress of the tourist center, hotels, and hot spring facilities, pointing out the need to distribute work and workers properly in order to ensure that needed personnel, materials, and technologies are put in place, and that program progress is in line with the construction period.

He also stressed the need to strengthen safety awareness in production work, and prevent accidents from happening by paying special attention to details. He told Baimayu Eco-Agriculture Development Co to enhance maintenance work on landscapes around hot springs and broaden marketing channels for mineral water, which will lay a solid foundation for the trial operations of the scenic spot.

Huang then visited the Taoyuan River scenic spot, emphasizing the need to keep an eye on the water line and water quality of the reservoir. He also highlighted the regular supervision of potential geographical disasters to make sure that the lives of businessmen and tourists in the spot are not threatened.

Commercial activities at the spot will be further regulated, especially in relation to the location of stalls, in order to elevate the scenic spot's image and improve the tourist experience.
