Emergency drill launched to enhance cyber security

The Guiyang state-owned assets supervision and administration commission launched an emergency drill with cyber security technology units on May 31. The drill was designed to prevent hackers from taking advantage of loopholes existing on the official website of the commission and attacking the website by implanting harmful information into it.  

Huang Yonghui, director of the commission, urged officials to read and reflect on the emergency plan and get familiarized with work procedures in face of this kind of accident. 

Han Rong, deputy director of the commission, also offered advice, suggesting an increase in the reasonability, practicality, and feasibility of the emergency plan, enhancing the reserves of emergency personnel, materials, equipment and technologies, fully implementing the cyber security accountability mechanism, and raising cyber security awareness, as well as the ability to to handle such cases, so as to provide a safer cyberspace for State-owned assets and company reforms.
