Officials from the Guiyang State-owned assets supervision and administration commission paid a visit to workers at Guiyang Industrial and Commercial Industry Investment Group Co on Feb 2 and expressed their gratitude and warm appreciation for the efforts being made by the company's personnel.
Workers from Guizhou Tyre Co, Jonyang Kinetics Co and Kuangshan Machine Factory Co – also based in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – were visited.
Last year both Guizhou Tyre Co and Jonyang Kinetics Co achieved growth – against the general downtrend in output value and revenue income, in the wake of the novel coronavirus outbreak – and posted record profits.
Huang Yonghui, director of the Guiyang SASAC, expressed his vision that moving forwards local enterprises would continue to integrate their personnel and technology, facilitating the development of the city's manufacturing and services sectors in particular.
Huang said during the visit that workers facing difficulties in the current situation deserved respect and would get help. High-quality personnel, especially young talent, also needed to be cultivated and shaped, he said.
In addition, enterprises needed to quicken their pace in innovating, preserving and expanding State-owned assets. For the coming Spring Festival, more emphasis needed to be placed on the prevention and control of pandemics and safe production.
