Guiyang bureau investigates construction of major project

Officials from the Guiyang State-owned assets supervision and administration commission – based in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – visited the construction sites of major projects in the Guian New Area on Dec 15 to learn about their construction progress.

Huang Yonghui, Party secretary of the commission, stressed during the visit that the project leaders wanted to ensure construction safety by having daily security checks and they also wanted to improve the training of construction workers on safety.

He said the project leaders should also keep an eye on gasoline and electricity usage, to prevent potential safety hazards in winter.

In addition, they should ensure food safety and enhance Party building at the construction sites, Huang said.
