Livestreaming plays key role in recruitment

The third livestreaming broadcast -- for resident State-owned enterprises (SOEs) -- of the Guiyang, Guian cloud recruitment program was held on Dec 10 in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, attracting over 44,000 viewers and the delivery of 2,065 resumes.

Guiyang talent service center invited five SOEs to participate in the livestreaming recruitment event.

Resident SOEs brought along all the details needed for job seekers and among the positions offered were engineering and technical posts, management opportunities and skilled jobs.

In addition to the five enterprises participating in the live broadcast, eight enterprises participated in online recruitment.

More than 300 management personnel, professional and technical personnel and various skilled workers were urgently needed.

During the livestreaming event, a secondary live broadcast site was set up to rebroadcast contract signings between employers and recruits, to share the moment with netizens.

The next livestreaming activity will start at 19:00 on Dec 17, and resident enterprises in Guian New Area and Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone will be invited to recruit talent.

According to statistics, since the launch of the series activities on Dec 10, the total number of viewers for the three live broadcasts has exceeded 140,000.

Preliminary processing of 5,162 resumes has been completed, 4,739 talent people have finished interviews and 163 people have signed expressions of interest.
