Guiyang SASAC head inspects major construction project

Huang Yonghui, Party chief and head of the State-owned assets supervision and administration commission of Guiyang (Guiyang SASAC), inspected a construction site on Dec 8.

Huang listened to a report made by project managers and learned about the construction progress, including the overall planning, land acquisition steps and schedule. He also asked them about the problems and difficulties in advancing construction on the project.

The Sanjiang construction project, which was developed by a State-owned enterprise – Guiyang Investment Holding Group, is a vital project of the city and Guizhou province.

Huang urged the developers to continuously improve their plans and adjust the schedule to ensure that it will be completed on time and with the best possible quality.

Efforts should also be made to speed up land acquisition and complete all the formalities, he said, adding that resources such as labor, mechanical equipment and building materials should be in place to ensure its progress.

He also suggested analyzing the challenging tasks and difficulties and working out a plan to be approved by the government and stressed safety and elimination of hidden safety hazards.
