State-owned company in Guiyang says no to food waste

The Party committee of Guiyang Industrial Development Holding, a State-owned enterprise in Guiyang, has carried out various activities to promote the "Clean Your Plate" campaign, aiming to eliminate food waste.

The Party committee has encouraged its staff members to cherish food, live healthily and eat sensibly via its WeChat account, Dingding and WeChat Work group, to popularize a healthy lifestyle among employees.

The enterprise is also striving to limit food waste during official receptions, conferences and training courses, demanding that staff members order rationally and avoid food wastage and extravagance.

Also, the company's subsidiaries are being urged to curb food wastage in their canteens, strengthen the promotion of civilized dining and encourage thrifty lifestyles.

The enterprise will continue efforts to enhance education and foster a work community that values food.
