The State-owned assets supervision and administration commission of Guiyang (SASAC of Guiyang) held a special training course on modern enterprise management and operation at Suzhou University in Jiangsu province on Aug 22-28.
A total of 92 representatives from Guiyang participated in the training, including leaders and business elites from the supervision organizations of the city's State-owned assets and enterprises, and leaders and management personnel from State-owned enterprises.
The training course covered a diverse range of topics, such as Party building, enterprise management, investment and financing and revolutionary education.
It also adopted various teaching methods, including lectures by experts and professors, on-site visits and instruction, experience exchanges and situational teaching.
The event aimed to give trainees a glimpse at the successful tactics and measures used in Suzhou's economic development, with the intention they will apply what they've learned to advance the high-quality development of Guiyang.
Suzhou's GDP ranks sixth in China and first among prefecture-level cities.
Suzhou University is an elite university in Jiangsu province and is listed in China's Project 211 and Plan 2011.
